Pinedale Food Basket

The Pinedale Food Basket provides boxes of food for families with financial difficulties. Our thrift store donations and purchases provide a major portion of the income for purchasing food for the distributions.

Families must be registered ahead in order to participate so that we can order the appropriate quantities of food. If your family has a need, sign-ups at the Food Basket. Please bring a photo ID, proof of residence (like a power bill), and a copy of your 2009 tax form.

Call Bonnie at 307-231-2316 if you have questions.

School-Based Programs
Sometimes the best place for enjoying activities together is at the child’s school. And, the best part is, it can be a great learning experience, in or out of the classroom.

A Woman’s Work (AWW) is a unique funding source for women in the School District #9 area (Big Piney, Marbleton, and LaBarge). AWW is meant to provide help for immediate needs that cannot be met by other sources. All women who receive assistance from AWW must be living and/or working in School District #9 area for 45 days and must be referred by a local nonprofit organization, church, school, or AWW donor. Her name is kept as confidential as possible and board members will be informed of the need although they will not know who is in need. The board members determine if the need can be met through this fund and their response will be given quickly.
